AZ Rivals of Aether Season 21

In the time since the last update, a full season of AZ Rivals has come and gone. Overall, I took less photos this season, as I wasn’t very happy with the results I was getting at first. Especially in the middle of the season, I was dealing with a creative block, so I stopped bringing a camera to every event. Early on in the season, in April, was Smash Camp, the first big event since I started photography, and I decided early on that I would shoot the whole event in color film, and went all out. Afterwards, I was just burnt out, both in compitition and creatively. There will be a seperate post for Smash Camp, though I made sure to get photos of the event to the community shortly after the event. Shortly after the event, I would both decide to host and announce The Motel, an Arcadian event hosted at my very own house. The preparations would be another reason why I didn’t take too many photos this season. I made an honest attempt to try to do some photography during the event, but I realized very quickly that photography and TO-ing just wouldn’t mix. Recently though, I’ve been much more motivated to take photos at events again, and I’m much happier with my more recent photos, thanks in large part to some new lenses. As we roll into the new season, I’m hoping to be more consistent with my updates, both for Rivals and my other creative work.
